RONIT'S STORY

Helping people look and feel better about themselves has been Mrs. Raphael Leitersdorf's mission ever since she suffered a skin scarring incident in her late teens:

"At the age of eighteen, I had a skin peeling treatment. Unfortunately, I suffered second degree burns as a result and had to be hospitalized. The doctors gave me little chance of a full recovery. My self-confidence was severely damaged, but I was determined to heal myself and my skin. Defying the odds, thanks to a collaboration with leading dermatologists, I have managed to cure my skin.

During the long and painful process, I gained a deeper understanding of how the way we look effects the way we feel about ourselves, and how that, in turn, influences our confidence in our ability to achieve our goals in life.

Even though, I had never dreamed or planned to devote my life to a career in the aesthetic field, I decided to study the science of skincare in order to better understand what happened to me and why it happened.

It is because of my personal experience and my studies that I have become deeply convinced that beautiful skin for all ages is achievable. With this conviction, I have founded L.RAPHAEL.

Our aim is to help other people who have concerns about their skin and their appearance, by providing unique, effective skincare treatments and high-performing skincare products. These have been developed by Professor Meir Shinitzky, a world leading expert in cell membrane research, Dr Raphael Gumener a former President of the Swiss Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and myself."
